Hi Wild Ones! Every month I recommend books, movies, and TV that I’ve enjoyed. Looking for your next read or watch? Read on. I’ve got so much for you here: romantasy with queer and polyamorous themes, hot kinky contemporary M/M, a polyamorous Jdrama, and a kinky Korean film. Plus a little bit about relationship anarchy.

Naamah’s Blessing by Jacqueline Carey
This was a fantastic end to the series. The villain was totally unexpected, which was so interesting. And the ending was great. Carey has a way of making her book endings feel like you’re wrapped in the warmest blanket with someone you love. It’s so satisfying. Great read for fantasy lovers who want a LGBT and polyam main character.

Bad Comes First by Kris Ripper
An intensely kinky M/M novel that starts off basically as kinky porn that develops a nice relationship. Ripper has a fantastic ability to imbue really wildly kinky action with lots of feelings. This book leans more to the porny end than some of zir other novels, but it still develops a satisfying relationship.
An Impromptu Lesson by Kris Ripper – A hot short story with characters from Bad Comes First and the regular SMU. I loved a glimpse at a different side of Hugh in this story.
The Housewarming Party by Kris Ripper – This is a fantastic story about the complications of family, and also an outside view of the main characters from the SMU. Both aspects are well done in the story, and it was touching. The main character does wrestle with his discomfort with the other character’s romantic relationships (queer and polyam), just FYI.

Love and Leashes
A fantastic Korean movie with great kink which I watched on Netflix. There’s a femdom, male sub, pet play, an office romance, and lots of other kinky goodies. It reminds me a little of Kimi Wa Petto with the pet play (that was also a fantastic series – looks like you can currently watch it through Prime with a RetroCrush subscription) but Love and Leashes is different and its own thing. I really enjoyed it.

Two Husbands One Wife
Such a sweet and delightful polyamorous Japanese drama! Mia’s boyfriend says he’ll only marry her if three people are involved, which throws Mia for a loop. Her ex boyfriend gets involved, for Reasons, and the show is off and running. There’s the mention of a threesome, and the two guys being attracted to each other, with the insinuation that it takes place offscreen. It’s zany at times, and a little crazy. And totally fluffy, adorable viewing.
Relationship Anarchy: Single? Taken? Who Cares? – A great little article by Grindr about RA and how it works. Worth a read if you’re curious about it.
